If I buy less than 3 soaps, the shipping will cost more than the soaps so I always buy in bulb, at least 5-10 soaps at a time. Anyone knows of a shop in the US that has these in stock - all shaving soaps:
Arctic
42
Lavanille
Rhapsody
Latha Limon
Le Petite Chypre

Have you contacted the store owner? Maybe he has to configure the shipping for your country, even if it is the country can be used in the address field. I was one of the first international customers of badgershavingco.com and I remember he had to do something similar, at least at the beginning...

To answer your question, Italianbarber.com has all of them in stock, at the time of writing.

Arctic is out of stock on ShaveRevolution and I think one also have to contact the store owner for adding a country in the shipping module... the only European country listed is UK.

Woops, sorry, my mistake. Thanks for the correction!

I'm going to wait, have to go through my good friend Grant, from The Nook, once again. I also need/want 6 Caties, and might as well combine it with 16 of the soon to be released Mystic Waters new formula, which she tests on the forums currently. All B&M's will probably be out of stick by then, so just like Mike's Natural.
Now I suddenly remember why I don't own any Mike's......

If we made everything all the time, we'd go out of business. I don't have the kind of capital to carry such a broad inventory. And we need to generate new work in order to keep the public interest, so there must be new soap; the wet shaving market is too fickle to just continue to make the same fragrances. This method is born of necessity, not caprice. Smile

I wouldn't compare B&M stock to Mike's at all. Mike's is constantly out of stock on several permanent line scents. B&M is rarely out of stock on permanent line scents. It's the Limited Edition scents that run out of stock, and even those he now takes pre-orders which are announced on this very board and open for a full week to place orders. That's the best way to get the LE's imo. There is never a problem finding a B&M soap unless it is a popular LE soap.

Is that what happened with the Fougere soaps?

Is that what happened with the Fougere soaps?

Partly, yes. The fougères were VERY expensive to manufacture (which made them even MORE expensive to purchase). While the hype and acclaim allowed us to make a fair quantity, eventually, sales slowed down and they were simply too expensive to continue to carry as part of the inventory. Coupled with the fact that everyone and their uncle had begun doing a fougère by then, it no longer made sense for us to make them. It's also why Beaudelaire is going to be done the same way as 42 was: pre-orders, retail distribution, etc. Smile

Can you sign me up for the Baudelaire, Will, please
I own the 3 other Black Label soaps, but because I was an idiot, I never bought the Baudelaire

So far I need these:

Lavanille
Baudelaire
Rhapsody
42
Arctic

It would be awesome if you would consider making a more true Sandalwood soap in the White/luxury line. More true than the Latha Sandalwood. I know sandalwood e oil is expensive, but would be a great addition to the line.

Too expensive, Claus. Even the good sandalwood replacers like Hindinol and Limbwood cost a fortune. Sorry.

But, when the Beaudelaire pre-order opens (which will be in late June), I'll definitely let you know about it. Promise. Smile

Will, do you know why sandalwood oil is so expensive? Is it inherently expensive, i.e., there's either very little of it or its costly to produce (or both) or the supply is being manipulated (like diamonds). Obviously looked at from an economic theory perspective, demand outstrips supply therefore price goes up, but why is that? I have visions of a sandalwood cartel ruthlessly controlling the production and sales of the product - anyone who breaks ranks comes to an untimely end. And you know what happened because the calling card of the cartel is nice smelling corpse!
