Popped on the Artique soap and splash too!

Men Essentials at least wasn't gouging like Badger Shaving Co. is...

Missed it at Italian Barber. Had it all in the cart and it sold out before I got to checkout. Hahahahahaa.

Looking forward to giving it a whirl.

Say that again, ouch!

Thats odd because I was just at IB and it all still shows as in stock and you can put it in a shopping cart. If its not showing as sold out until you go to check out thats a pain in the....neck - Italian Barber should be made aware of that because, as we all know thats something that really pisses people off.

I'm not sure what you mean by Badger Shaving gouging - their price is in Canadian dollars which trades at a discount to US$ and they're actually a couple of bucks cheaper than Italian Barber if you look at both sites in Canadian $. My calculator says that US$18.00 is about CDN$23.28 today and IB is selling 42 for CDN$26.06 (US$19.99) while Badger Shaving is selling 42 for CDN$24.00 (US$18.51). I hardly think that counts as gouging. Shipping is another matter, I think Badger has a higher threshold for the free shipping option.

I didn't realise that they were listing it in Canadian dollars.

Thanks for clarifying.

On Italian Barber I see it listed US dollars for $18.

The difference is significant currently. Especially when looking at the Wolfman razor as I think some miss this detail as I did last evening looking at the 42 to buy from Badger Shaving Co.

It's what I meant. I presumed that it was US dollars. Which had it been, would be a third more than elsewhere.

How difficult would it be to put a converter on their website automatically or perhaps highlight this more prominently?

Marko I ordered Arctique from IB last night with no issues so think they do in fact have stock.

Can't wait for the cryo face treatment!

bakerbarber thats a good point. IB defaults to US dollar and you have to select a different currency in the upper right corner to change it. Badger just operates in Canadian dollars but I agree that they ought to display that fact more prominently. One of the biggest factors for me as a Canadian with shopping on US based websites is the fact that they don't offer free shipping outside of the US, the shipping cost can be more than the value of the item. For example, the Fine plastic slant would cost me US$29 + US$42 shipping =pass. The Canada based vendors that offer free shipping to the US do so because a larger part of their market would be in the US. Its a fact of life US pop. 300+million CDN pop. 35 million which amounts to Canadian vendors need the US market in order to thrive while US vendors don't need CDN market for anything, its a rounding error and a nuisance in some cases which is why many US based vendors don't even ship to Canada. I get it, its business, the hassle outweighs the benefit. Its unfortunate, someone ought to bring a NAFTA complaint Smile

It is unfortunate, but we do the best we can with what we have. Undecided Regardless, thank you for checking that, Marko. Smile

This is starting to feel like purchasing Mike's Natural. Never enough in stock at the same time. A positive problem for Will. A pain in the butt for us Euro guys

Just spend 15 minutes choosing the B&M I wanted at badgershavingco.com as they had all in stock I want from B&M.
At checkout got the uplifting message: Sorry, we don't ship to Denmark
If I buy less than 3 soaps, the shipping will cost more than the soaps so I always buy in bulb, at least 5-10 soaps at a time. Anyone knows of a shop in the US that has these in stock - all shaving soaps:
Arctic
42
Lavanille
Rhapsody
Latha Limon
Le Petite Chypre

Thanks a lot in advance !!
Cheers, Claus from Denmark

Have you considered a different retailer? I believe ShaveRevolution has all of those in stock. That said, apologies for the frustration; we've done our best to spread the 42 launch out as much as possible.
