I for one, miss Will's active participation on DFS. I'm very fond of Barrister and Mann soaps. They were my first introduction to artisan shaving soap and I have a substantial collection. Although I've not seen it here on DFS, I've heard about some of the shenanigans as its being referred to. That's the thing about social media, it's a double edged sword. It can be a great tool for promoting a brand or a product but the trolls are lurking. If you look back a few hundred pages in this thread, Will explained his approach and the importance of keeping some buzz around the brand , hence the seasonal and LEs. There's always got to be something new coming to keep you front of mind in the consumers heads. This thing with FG and the devil imagery I think was calculated and worked out very well, more people found it cool than were offended by it and while it may have worked out, the blasts always hit you harder than the accolades. While it would be nice to see Will come back and engage the members both as a soap maker and a fellow wet shaver, I think it's unlikely.

I had asked Will about this prior to the release. He informed me it is all EO.

Yep. This is pretty much what I was referring to a few weeks ago. This thread just isn't the same without him being actively engaged.

I truly miss Will's participation.  However, if it is because of trolls then I sincerely hope Will can step around them and come back.  What I love about the artisan/members who come here is their honesty and, frankly, their approachable posts.  Barrister_N_Mannyou are missed!

What with the year winding down to completion, any gossip of what the next 12 months may bring our way with regards to your brand?
