I have a bottle of Lavanille AS that is over a year old. Will the scent profile fade/distort when it gets old? In other words should I buy a new bottle when I place my next order?

Asafiev, from what I remember (from similar questions to manufacturers before), as long as the product has been stored in a dark and relatively cool place, it should be fine for even several years, most likely. I recall someone saying that keeping these kinds of products away from light is about as important as keeping them away from heat.

Anyone, feel free to correct me if my memory fails me here.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I know there is a chance that I may not like Gothique but I have a lot of faith and will likely blind buy this and enjoy the fact that I have enjoyed so many scents from B & M over the years. I don't think there have been any that I strongly dislike.

Anyways, the notes make it sound very interesting. Smile Excited to try it in the Reserve base as well!

I think you're correct. I know the pure essential oils should be stored in dark glass containers. One of the places I buy from ships the 16oz bottles in dark plastic bottles, but says to transfer them to glass within 30 days of receiving them, or as soon as possible. I just transfer them to amber glass bottles and store in my cabinets. To be honest though, I haven't worried much about my aftershaves. I keep all of them on the bathroom counter and on a floating shelf in my bathroom. I figure I use them enough that they won't last more than a couple years anyway. My oldest scents still smell true.
