Most of them are not used, no. Indoles make up a tiny but important part of jasmine and ylang ylang oils, so any synthetic re-creations of those oils generally incorporate small quantities, but, other than that, such things are verboten simply by virtue of how awful they smell.
I must confess: curiosity got the better of me awhile back, so I ordered a tiny vial of Cadaverine. I do not, repeat DO NOT, recommend that you repeat my mistake.
