I picked up the Lupo 95 SB from the bullpen of razors waiting patiently for their turn. After one with the grain pass I feel much better and at least like I shaved.

This is why you need a sharp blade in a razor like this if you aren't willing to do multiple passes. The Schick Proline B-20 and B-30 AC blades are not that sharp compared to the Chinese Schicks or Feather AC blades.

Definitely a big big difference in the shave today with Chinese Schick blades.
Yesterday's shave was like I did it with my pocket knife. Probably about the longest whiskers left after three passes with any razor, unbelievable.
Today's shave with the Schick's was a good shave though, amazing difference like night and day.

Did a shave with a fresh Chinese Schick and the shave was better than with the Personna on the first shave for each. Still wasn't a perfect BBS but depending your type of hair better results should be attainable. Frankly I am not impressed with the razor but with that said it could be a daily driver for a different type of shaver than myself.

Also as note why the blades are called Chinese Schicks is that there are also other Japanese Schick injector blades besides the B-20 blades with totally different blade edges from the Chinese made ones.

I don't care for the Schick B-20 Injectors but the Schick Pro-Line AC blades are plenty sharp but are not B-30's, they are P-20 or P-30. The B designates it's an injector blade and the number is how many in the pack. The P designates it's an AC Blades and number for how many.

That is what I meant P-30 not B-30 for the AC blades. Far enough that they are not dull and have a decent edge but in my experience I've found them to be about the same as Personna injector blades for sharpness.

One thing this razor has in it's favor is you can j-hook with it so I decided to change up the shave routine a little and go with 3 passes and j hooking under the jaw line which gives an acceptable result. It is not perfect BBS but more than acceptable under most business or social situations It may not be perfect but so far it is the most serviceable modern injector razor I've used.

Just got an email from BullGoose:

“BullGoose Shaving is having their annual Summer Sale this weekend. Save 15% Storewide when you use coupon code Summer15 at checkout. The sale ends at 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, July 10th.”

Might be the time for me to pull the trigger on that RX V2!

Can someone suggest me another Injector blade? Ive been using the Personna PTFE's - with the B20's my skin reacts with the chromium coating. Are there any other blades without chrome coating which works in this Asylum?

I don't know about coatings but the other options are first the Chinese Schicks since they are the easiest to obtain, just shop around on them since the prices varies. Then you have the much more expensive Japanese Schicks, Supply has their own unique blades that maybe nothing more than Japanese Schick rebrands but I can't say for sure.

That is about it for what is out there for modern blades, The next option is to look for NOS vintage injector blades in unopened boxes.

Firstly, chromium is NOT a coating and you cannot be allergic to it as it is not touching your skin. It is only the very edge that is SPUTTERED with chromium (and other metals) that allows the edge to maintain it's sharpness and not chip as easily. The PTFE coating is over that edge and is so thin that it buffers the edge and is what imparts the smoothness. Sharpness has nothing to do with smoothness. They are separate factors. The blade is cutting hair THROUGH the PTFE coating as it is molecularly thin.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Thank you for clearing that - but my skin always reacts with blades which have chrome coating. Shark, Wilkinson, BIC, Derby, Schick - thats why I am thinking my skin doesnt like it
