My friend says yes he did and he is going to let me try it out.

So I got to use this razor today. First thing out of the way, I tried to load a Schick II twin injector blade and I was able to snug it up but have my doubts it will work since it looked like the blade ends weren't secured correctly. I decided to try a Personna blade initially since they aren't as sharp as the Chinese made Schick blades. Having used many injectors and having probably somewhere between 400 to 500 shaves using these style razors Personnas only work really well for me in aggressive razors, milder razors not so much. Schicks work well in both. Fresh Personna blade and 5 passes later I will say this is a mid level aggressive injector razor. I am smooth but not BBS smooth since I can still feel stubble under the jaw line but that is it. Everything else is smooth. That would be a more than acceptable shave in most circumstances and people with less coarse and thick hair should see better results doing the same shave routine. Real tell will be about shave 4 on this blade once the edge is worn in and starting to wear out.

Couple of thoughts. Razor reminds me of an American Schick Type G, not exact but in the ballpark as far as how it shaves. Razor is also fiddly with the blade loading. That is it's biggest minus so far. The way I think to fix this is the following. It needs to be designed to load cap-blade-baseplate- handle in that order. you put the shoulders on the cap instead of the base plate for starters that way the blade stays aligned through the loading process. To make it even simpler you make a blade stand that holds the razor head down instead of up and make it you so pop the blade out the key and can drop it exactly onto the razor cap. Then you can put the base plate on without fiddling around and screw down the handle. It makes it safer and easier to load and handle since the head is in the stand with the blade.

edit. The fix is simpler than I thought. Lose the bade shoulders outright and design it like a Gibbs for example to keep the blade from sliding. Unless you are injecting the blades which this razor doesn't do it won't matter. Do that and it should also be able to hold Schick II twin injector blades.

just purchased one second hand.  haven't tried it yet.  what blades do you recommend with this one?  also, this is my first injector razor.  thanks!

A lot of guys like the yellow Schick's made in China on back of the package.
   Other guys have used plenty of different injectors so they can give ya more of a blade rundown.

Those are the sharpest injector blades out there that I know of. First shave with them tend to be rough before they start to mellow out. You can try palm or jean stropping them before first using which might help.

Just bite the bullet and buy one injector key of Chinese Schick blades and one of the Personna blades. Personna blades can be gotten from Parker / Taconic shave or Connaught Shaving for about as cheap as they are retailed for. The Chinese Schicks in the yellow blister packs sell on ebay, amazon etc. Just check a few vendors since the price varies by quite a bit. That will cover mild and wild to figure out which type of blade(s) work best in the razor for you. Keep in mind first shave with either will be pretty harsh but they do mellow out after the initial shave. If you don't wind up liking the razor and sell it you can bundle the blades with it and give the same explanation to the next buyer if they are new or newish to injectors.

  The shave was smooth very smooth but left most of the whiskers on my face.
My face felt as if I hadn't made a single  pass and that was after 3 passes.
   I picked up the Lupo 95 SB from the bullpen of razors waiting patiently for their turn. After one with the grain pass I feel much better and at least like I shaved.

This is why you need a sharp blade in a razor like this if you aren't willing to do multiple passes. The Schick Proline B-20 and B-30 AC blades are not that sharp compared to the Chinese Schicks or Feather AC blades.
