The two shaves that I've had were just "ok", close to BBS in some areas, but mostly DFS, but with some significant weepers here and there, and some irritation. I haven't been able to get the angle quite right. Sometimes, all I feel is the blade about to cut into the skin, other times it seems super smooth. I assume that everyone rides pretty close to the cap with this one, but I would like some confirmation of that from the experts here.
It has taken me a while to get my technique down for the DE razors that I use, so I'm guessing it may take me a while with this one. I've been using the Schick B-20s that I ordered with the razor, so maybe a different blade could change things somewhat.
That's where I am so far, not quite the results most are getting, but I am hopeful that I can improve with some time.
You know my experience seems close to yours and I don't know why.
Seemed a little bit tugging to me and leaving a lot of hair behind.
I kind of get the same thing with Vector with AC blades but after the first pass it's good with great finish.
I've monkeyed with the angle and watched Dave's angle in his video.
I'm trying to use a little bit of a shallower angle than most of my DE's
I don't really have the same situation with the Schick E or adjustable M.
I'm using Schick Yellow blades.
If you want PM me and we can swap a couple of blades so you can try the Yellows and I can try the B-20's.
