My soap arrived (unexpectedly) yesterday!   Confused2  I sent a msg. to him offering to refund my refund as I'd like to think I am a "stand up" fella and he declined graciously as well as apologized for a lack of communication regarding shipping. Now that's how you treat customers and keep 'em comin' back!!  Wink  No one likes his soaps & AS's more than I as he is not afraid to push the envelope on scents and when he gets that right it's really right!!  Smile

I used this Kaizen today and my subjective opinion is that it face lathered with childlike ease and was a cinch to find it's "sweet spot" for water retention. I only needed three swirls with a damp Tuxedo brush on the tub before face lathering. That was enough. I cannot tell any slickness or cushion differences between it and his prior version, but that is because IMO it was already superb and not because of any shortcoming with Kaizen. The scent is certainly bright and unique. I like it a lot.

In closing I will toss a "bone" to the PSF groupies that yes this soap is better in that regard for those who don't use a post shave facial cleanser.

Tried Kaizen today. Found the scent incredible, maybe even better than Aion. Reminiscent of Japanese fruit dessert. The cushion was really quite good with postshave just slightly below Cutting Edge and behind Nai and Ethos. Let’s call it a tie for 3rd which is very complementary. For scent driven shavers, it a must have. If postshave just slightly better, would put it with Nai as tie for second best soap.

Does anyone else get Pez for the Kaizen scent or is it just me?

Corrigendum:
Dessert; although desert would undoubtedly leave a nice, dry finish to the palate as a dessert.

Just you  Tongue

Funny you mention PEZ, I got that from B&M Behold the Whatsis

Edit: OK so you got me thinking and I smelled them both and they are very similar to my nose at least. Kaizen is a much stronger scent but I am getting the PEZ from both

For me Kaizen reminds me of the old Bazooka and Grapefruit bubble yum.

Shoot that sounds  just as fun to me.
I've got a G.D. soap that smells like one of the Wrigley's chewing gums from when I was a kid, but I'm not sure which one, it's been a moment.
