I noticed that, too. And then PAA also posted a picture of a new version of the Prismatic — either a different metal or a different finish than the current one. Who knows what Smythe is cooking up in his lab…? I’m not quite sure how he finds the time to sleep. Smile

I know the razor at the beginning of the thread was aluminum. Maybe two versions like some other PAA razors made from different materials?

I could see the aluminum version GEM razor going for ~$25USD, but definitely not a stainless steel version.

Actually no. What's etched on the top cap is "Starling SE". The razor I believe is all aluminum, at least in the prototype phase.

Ah, yes! I see it now.(as I squint) I swear on my phone it says, "Stainless." Now, it says, "Starling" on the 24" screen. Confused2

I'm not sure it would go for $25 though. His aluminum version of the SS DOC is $99. Above the Tie came out with an aluminum version of their SS razors that is the same price. I have no reason to think that the aluminum version of a GEM would be 1/4 of the price. I hope it is though but I doubt it.
