Gentlemen - photos and video tomorrow. The Claymore Evolution SE pre-production prototype CAD #4 is with me now - I got it hours ago. I am opening for pre-order in a few days. There is also an exclusive handle. Available to ship in about 25 -30 days.

The Claymore has been in the prototype stage for Executive Shaving for a couple of years now. I owned the original Claymore which was like a sledge hammer with a blade in it. I am glad that the new version finally went into production. Even better that Alpha is a partner.

OK - here are the first photos. I shaved with Claymore Evo tonight - dolphin smooth. He is al 316L stainless steel. Al machined and sand blasted to a lovely finish. Apologies I am not a great photographer so I will strive to get some better ones soon.

I will open for pre-orders on Monday at the latest.

Update - weights and dimensions

Handle 90mm 71g
Head - 33g

The handle has a standard M5 x 0.8 thread so any razor handle will fit just fine.

Are there differences about the geometry of the head?
I mean, gap and exposure.

Aggression - mid-aggressive. Hard to gauge it with a SE blade as the blades are so stiff.
Head only - bien sure mes amis - of course a head only option!!
Blades - AC from Feather. I have shaved with Professional, Proguard and Softguard - all awesome in this razor.

Feather AC blades are the bomb - in my humble opinon, the best shave this side of a nicely honed straight with none of the hassles.

That’s all fine & good. Those blades work extremely well in other razors too. Hype is good and understandable as it’s part of salesmanship and marketing to the masses. But, I’d rather have it in my hands and be my own judge of it’s capabilities. Bottom line is, when does it go on sale or preorder? No disrespect intended towards you in my comments, just interested in getting my hands on one…. Winking
