Any new updates on the Claymore? Still on schedule for a late July release or maybe early August? Thanks in advance....

He commented yesterday on Instagram that they're still 2-3 weeks out from release.

I don't like holding people money. That saying - Claymore will be ready in about ONE WEEK - maybe TEN DAYS!!!

And then suddenly it was day break... no. It costs more to make - a lot more.

Received the Alpha claymore SE in the mail today. 1 week from China, with the non-express mailing option. Packaging was nice and tight. The razor was shipped within a canvas pouch, within a bamboo case. The blades and stand were securely packed in a plastic tube. All the contents were tightly packed together within the box.

I had heard a rumor of potential units with a blade fit issue. Mine had no such issue. I tested the feather professional it came with, a super pro, and a Schick proline. All fit perfectly in the cap posts, and in alignment with the base guard

Weight- Site lists as 114g. Mine is 110g with a blade installed. The stand is 94g. My favorite razor is a 2021 Rocnel sailor(136g) so this is not an issue for me.

Finish- Really nice. nice smooth edges. Clean. Good utility finish. I have been shying away from scratch-prone mirror finishes for some time so right up my alley.

Grip- Excellent, and I'm a grip enthusiast. nice, deep, aristocrat-style knurling. Very similar in feel to the Triad aristocrat I had (that handle was $150 alone)

Shave- Follow up tonight

So glad a Feather Super fits. Steve sent me a message after I was talking about the only blades I use in my SE’s are those and Schick Prolines. He was concerned because he thought Supers would not fit. Really looking forward to this one. Mine seems to be stuck in China but we’ll see.

I must amend my post. I got the feather super to fit before I wrote the post, but had to break it to get it out as the fit was too tight.

I ordered this razor also. Should get it on Monday.

I am concerned by the blade compatibility issues. I’ll test mine when I get it and will report back.

I do love the handle.
