Outstanding “no macho points” Sail on II

Is that the Ti? I assume you like it? I've used mine quite a bit and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I vacillate between the Ti and SS. The Ti is much more maneuverable but the weight of the SS is easier to manage pressure. Same razor but they shave quite differently. Hard to pick a favorite.

Talk to me about the soap and balm. I've never used that brand but in the winter time I seem to like a good balm better than a splash.

Thanks...James

Actually it’s a 2022L - and I more than like it. I am a daily shaver so tend to hang out between I and III. The weight of the Ti is very appealing to me and I have one in order. Really looking forward to it.

I only have a few Zingari soaps but all perform brilliantly- excellent lather. slick, and post shave feel. The Master is one of my favorite Barber Shops - it’s unique and exactly as described- dark and spicy.  Cheers

The razor has the same design as previous models but it looks like the titanium version of the standard model (even has brass ring). Normally, Ti razors are around 35% more expensive than those made from 316L stainless steel. I believe the standard Ti model will be very similar to MC but might be priced around 390 euros. Collectors will likely get these MC, but if you're not a collector, it might be worth waiting to get it at a much cheaper price.

He also noted, "The cost of titanium material is high. However, due to its lower processing costs, the price is lower than its stainless steel counterpart." Perhaps the standard Ti model might come at 285 euros. I recommend not rushing unless you are a collector, or you want to try the Ti model before others.

Has anyone heard any updates about this standard Ti model (i.e., a Ti model that's not Master Collection)?

Murat says they "will not produce a Ti model for a long time. We will only make SS model"

If you want an all Ti, it's going to cost.

Yessir. I encourage anyone with questions, don't hesitate to hit Murat on IG. He is more accessible than most.

Gotta give, Shane @Blackland Razors his due here too. If you call that number and it gets picked up, change are good you are speaking to the man himself. That may have changed, but that has been my experience.

Living on the edge
I think it's good that Rocnel "will not produce a Ti model for a long time"

Going by circumstantial evidence and the lack of online chatter, I think this version may not have sold at the numbers that are expected,
in order to be called a commercial success.

I don't think 1000 Euro is acceptable pricing for a razor of this kind...it may be for the monied , cost-no-object enthusiast
or collector. For that kind of coin, something truly spectacular needs to be on the table. I mean, for crying out loud, the "gold plating
on my 2021 MC Sailor in SS has disappeared....and I do not use hard water or any abrasives.

Hopefully the dude will rethink the economics of this all-Ti version....and if he chooses not to....that's cool as well.
