Probably a swing and a miss here but if I was a betting man, I'd go out on a limb and be thinking that is on its way right now to LOOT , or sometime in the very near future!!

I'm still most happy with positions 2 and 3 so far. Have not ventured above 5 yet. Seems to be no need for it since all settings below are just about perfect.(12-24-2021, 05:12 PM)krish667 Wrote: Well this is interesting. I just received my 2021 MC and everything seems to be in reverse. With a blade inserted, the dot aligns with the “0” setting only if the “Rocnel” and “Sailor” markings are aligned (the photo marked “incorrect” below). Well that’s interesting.
In mine....when the ROCNEL type on the head faces you, the pin on the handle should be felt behind.
With no blade loaded, the pin aligns with the V (approximately hehe)....when a blade is in the razor and it's fully closed down the pin is aligned to the dot (so the dot is the zero setting with blade loaded)
A gratuitous pic from yesterday, a great shave as usual:Merry Christmas everyone!

Murat told me that his first test titanium razor would be the Elite DE. That was a few month’s ago but the picture makes sense if that is titanium.

Adjusting for the weight of the medallion (6.664g ) on the MC, with the slightly greater thickness of the walls on the 2022 by comparison, I'd guess it's within a hair of the weight of the MC (mine is 142.5g), a heft I've actually come to like.
Do you know if it weighs more than the MC?
My guess is 139.9 grams for the 2022.

Nice. Congratulations. I continue to really enjoy my MC 2021. I did want to share that your DHL pic reminded me of a funny thing that happened to me a couple of weeks ago. My MC 2021 was delivered in November. Imagine my surprise, then, when I received another DHL shipping notification about a month later, and sure enough, it was a package coming from Turkey. Fortunately, I was able to contact Murat while the package was still in transit and he confirmed that a mistake had been made. The razor was able to be redirected to its rightful owner in Florida, but just in the nick of time. It was actually on a van out for delivery before things caught up in the system and I received a call from a local dispatcher asking if I really wanted this package to be shipped to Florida, instead. I explained the circumstances, she thanked me, and off it went to its eventual home. It was nice to catch the mistake in time so I didn't have to deal with taking the package back to DHL after it had arrived.

Only small surprise is the length of the handle -- seems short a touch, and this is the MC so it's longer than the regular Sailor. But I suspect I'll get used to that quickly. Cannot wait to try it since it feels like such a precisioned tool!(01-03-2022, 08:30 PM)Lesser Wrote: And look what arrived.....
Already shaved today so will have to wait until the morning. But in the meantime, nice to photo it.
Congrats. First Sailor you held? What do you think of the feel in hand?
