Today I ordered myself the Rocnel Sailor Master Collection razor and stand.
Let me tell you exactly how I sent the money in hopes it might save you a bit of money in fees.
I went to https://www.westernunion.com/us/en/home.html
I elected that the receiver pick up the money in USD.
I elected to pay cash in a store. As you know the RSMC razor sells for $690 with a nice stand.
The Western Union transfer fee I was quoted was $8.00.
I went to my favorite and most friendly and most upscale local grocery store, a Publix, where the nice ladies took my $700 in cash money and gave me back $10. I told them they'd forgotten to charge me the fee. That resulted in me getting back $2 instead of $10. I also received a paper copy of my receipt. On it they'd circled a tracking number which they told me was necessary for the receiving party in Turkey to obtain the money. I photographed that information and sent it to the vendor, Murat.
I've not yet heard back from him.
I'd explored several other ways of doing this. Perhaps some were better. I don't know. What I do know is some ways of sending the money involved me paying significantly higher fees to do so. With the money I saved I can buy more unneeded soap or something.
I hope this helps someone else trying to accomplish the same process.

Great info, Jim. $8 is better than the 10% I usually pay. Ha. Now I just gotta wait on a new release to put into practice.
What blades are people finding best for this razor? I’m seeing that the smooth blades like GSB seem to win out?
I’ve typically Feathers in my Gillette slim at various setting from 5-9 as reference. Previously I had used Astra and Wilkinson. I’ve yet to try GSB but sounds like I need to for the Sailor…

I find Personna (formerly Lab Blue) and Astra SP work great. Have used a Feather, but a bit dicier (no pun intended! ) with the weight....

I received the DHL tracking information from Murat after making an inquiry last week, but it is still in the 'Shipment information received' status. Murat indicated that there may have been a delay due to a holiday. I can't help but wonder if something is a little off, though, as time continues to elapse. I think I will continue to ping Murat on a weekly basis, now.
