Just a quick heads up, it looks like USPS has decided not to pick up the packages today. I'm currently on hold with them (25-38 minute estimate) to see if they can confirm that they did, in fact, just decide not to honor my (paid) pickup request.

If they don't go out today then they will go out tomorrow - I apologize for the delay Smile

One day is no big deal, Scott. However, if you paid for that pick-up then I hope you get reimbursed.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation.

First, the moderators who participated in the scent profile testing, and arranging for this to happen: Everything from selecting the vendor, the scent, the label, etc - That all takes time. Speaking from someone who is frequently pulled in many different directions, I appreciate your time spent. Truly.

For Scott: it's truly an honor for us to have your talents go towards a limited edition product we can be proud of. We also recognize it takes much time on your part to put everything together. I'm sure that you frequently hear the "complaining" side of being an artisan. Well, here's the praise to (hopefully) even it out.

And lastly, for the DFS forum & community. I've been a member of this and other forums for about a year now. But this is the only one I'm truly active on. That's in large part to the welcoming nature of most people and the engaging discussions. I appreciate that the moderators do not operate with a heavy hand as well.

I guess I'm about done here. I have no idea why inspiration struck me this morning to write these sentiments. But I'm glad it did.

Red Tipped Cobra, thanks for sharing your thoughts and your thanks. Scott @"landlgrooming" made it all happen, really, and of course andrewjs18 created the circumstances for all of this to take place. Proper dues to the both of them! Happy2

Awesome! Mine will be waiting for me when I get home today! Guess what soap I'll be using tomorrow morning?

Yup, mine is showing out for delivery.  Sadly and happily, I won't get to use mine right away as I leave for the St. Louis meet-up early tomorrow. Sad Smile
