Not yet, but it's on my wishlist...

I know this doesn't count, but I had a wetshaving dream where I used the the R41 with Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic. Excellent shave! No nicks or cuts! <LOL>

I think it counts (in a bizarre, mystical, perhaps pathological way).

How do you like the new stainless steel R41 ?
Is the head also stainless steel ?

It is SS from top cap/base plate to handle. I like it enough to rate it alongside the Blackbird and Wolfman DEs. IOW, I like it a lot.  Wink

Wolfman is too $pendy

How do you feel the RR GC .84 is compared to the other version ?
How’s the finish in the RR stainless steel razors ?
The finish is "decent."  Certainly not top of the heap like a Wolfman, but considering the price diff...

The only beef I have with the GameChanger is that its a bit wonky to load because of the round pins on the base.  The protruding slots on the cap of the Lupo make for a much easier blade load.  But after the blade is loaded, I find both to be quite stable and smooth on my face.

My face seems to like Personna Reds in the GC.  Can't say that I've found a preferred blade for the Lupo.

Both have titanium handles fitted to them.

Quite surprising that you prefer EJ 316 over your two Wolfman razors.
Have you tried the Mühle Rocca ?
I prefer the Rocca over my 316 by a slight margin.

  1. B&R Adjustable — The original and still the best. Minimal parts; easy to disassemble and thoroughly clean; indexing alignment is a breeze.
  2. Janus Adjustable — Initially purchased as a gift for my son, but when I read about it’s aggressiveness I gave him a different razor.
  3. Stirling Razor HA Baseplate — Absolutely no beard hair can hide from this beast. Smooth and highly-effective. If you appreciate blade, well…
  4. Raw Shaving RS10 — Mine has no logo on the top cap, as requested, exhibiting the sheer beauty of this razor overall.
  5. Mühle R41GS Stainless Steel — It has claws for its open comb, but doesn’t bite. Consistently provides superb shaves.

I do own a LASSCo BBS-1 and a Wolfman — all the above are better.
