Geez, I remember people sending Webers back for curved blades (and killing Weber head production) but none of them were nearly this bad.

I have to admit that I was seriously off put by the interview Mantic did with them.

I've rarely heard so much garbage marketing speak before. It was incredible.

The whole interview devolved into long winded delusional responses that increasingly failed to answer the questions posted.

I tried the OneBlade in the pass around on TSN and it wasn't for me.

If I had fallen in love with it, I have serious doubts that I would be purchasing one now. The big picture just feels like something is not adding up.

Too many inconsistencies in the storyline. I do hope that the whole thing turns around. The razor itself that I tried for a week was exceptionally well built and executed. Proprietary blades aside I won't dismiss the gigantic undertaking the product represents.

If they don't get in front of salvaging what's left of their reputation for the Holidays that generational warranty may only be as good as the paper it's printed on.

I agree, I really hope they get their act together. I love my OneBlade and probably use it 90% of the time, but these recent quality and service issues are a real concern if the company hopes to stick around. After I got mine, I would have recommended it to anyone who asked, but given recent events it's difficult to recommend the razor to potential new buyers.

I had a few minutes to open my OneBlade before needing to go back into work for some overtime tonight. I immediately saw flaws in the metal where the blade gets inserted into the razors. There's visible scratches and gouges in the metal and it's very rough to the touch.

I'll try to take some photos later...

Not impressed at all for a $300 razor!

Wow, Andrew, that's so disappointing to hear! I wonder if they're having trouble scaling up. The OneBlades I've gotten have all been perfect, but it doesn't sound like they're doing so well on quality control. I can't think of a good excuse for sending out a razor-much less a $300 razor-with scratches and gouges. If you're not too tired of the whole process by now, I'm sure Tod will make things right for you, but at this point, it's understandable if you're done with it. OTOH, the shaves are amazingly effortless, maddeningly so.
