we're trying to get clarification from OneBlade about this. I agree that a $300 razor should be flawless.

can any other razor maker chime in... Blackland Razors?

can you please post photos of yours? If OneBlade responds to me, I'm going to direct them here.

I'd imagine the blade smile affects the shave. I wonder if this is the issue celestino was having with his..I find it very odd that he was getting good shaves with one he borrowed, but not when he bought one new from OneBlade..
Andrew, I lent it to my brother for a couple of weeks, so I am not able to post photos soon. Hopefully someone else will post them sooner than me. Sorry for that. I am using my Schick now.

no worries. I'm sure there's plenty of others on here with an earlier OneBlade. SharpSpine?

SharpSpine commented earlier that his has the smile and we all know how he feels about his OneBlade.

Mine also has the smile, though I never noticed and learned about it this morning.

I'm really confused.  On the one hand, the razor seems to work well.  On the other hand, it doesn't make sense to me that a razor with an uneven blade gap can deliver good results.

These razors are manufactured in China. My point in sharing that is that I would expect them to order in quantity. I'm wondering if they got a batch where there was enough of a change to cause the smile.

I'm less worried about the smile being there and more worried about whether it impacts the shave. I don't know the answer to this question.

Is it my idea or Andrew's razor has a bigger smile than RSP1's?

I am almost sure that this is not normal. I really hope you find a way to solve this problem because OneBlade is a razor that offers fantastic shaves.

I was going to mention that as well...mine looks worse than RSP1's.

SharpSpine sent me a photo of his OneBlade with both a feather & a GEM loaded..the feather doesn't have a smile but the GEM does. strange!

I haven't tried a GEM so far, only the Feathers, but maybe that happens because the GEM blade does not fit perfectly.
