we'll see what they say!
Capital idea! Knowing that they are very communicative, I'm sure you'll get an answer. I see three possible answers; yes, no, we're thinking of doing it, but not just now. I'm bettin' on the last of my three listed.

Well if they were going to package them at a reduced cost, I doubt anyone would buy the 300 dollar version.

And I have to say, the stand is really, really nice. One of my favorite things about the design, honestly.

It does sound like a great idea, specially to lure more people into it. Having said that, the packaging, the stand, and all the little details is what helps to set the razor apart.

But, I am all into making it more affordable if possible.

if someone sees the value in the stand and the box, I don't see why they wouldn't. for a lot of us, we don't see the value in that stuff. if the stand was priced reasonably, I'd probably buy it with the razor (again, if the razor was priced decently).

I have been quite intrigued by this razor since a few friends have stated how nicely it shaves, but I am a bit apprehensive as the price of the razor and, especially, the Feather SE blades are a bit high, for me.

celestino you may have seen that vendors such as Bullgoose and Connaught have the Feather blades for OneBlade at a better price than what OneBlade charges. That was reassuring to me, at least. Plus, SharpSpine and others have reported great results using de-spined GEM blades in the OneBlade, so that could be a more economical blade option.

I agree about the overall price of the razor, though. Now that I've been using it, I don't think it's overpriced for what it is, but I remain apprehensive myself! Smile

Used mine today. It is such a nice razor. I'm happy with the issued blades because I always get a smooth shave from them. I only use them twice, for me that's the optimum usage.

I have been using it for travel, but wanted to give a spin at the house. It was a worthy drive :-)

Perhaps. Maybe they should tier it..., razor only..., razor + stand..., razor + stand + packaging. Big Grin Though, I'm sure they're going to say that they don't plan on less expensive releases because of whom their target buyer is. Smile

This was also a concern, compared to DE blades, but I'm planning on buying in bulk from Connaught Shaving and if I replace the blade every other shave, it comes out to 27 cents/shave. 22 cents if I buy a bigger quantity. That's acceptable to me.
