I love mine. Paid full shot for it and would do so again. Great razor for dummy like me who can’t seem to ever get pressure and angle right on a regular safety razor

I wanted to love mine I just couldn’t jive with it. I embraced the whole ride the pivot advice to no avail. When I used it like a DE with no pressure I found it remarkably inefficient. When I used enough pressure to actuate the pivot I got irritation. I still have a few boxes of FHS -10 lying around I need to BST.

I have been using the Oneblade Genesis V2 for a few days now.

I am quite against the tide.
I really like:
• Aesthetics
• Engineering
• Efficiency
I do not like it at all:
• Weight
• Balance
• Value for money
• Blades
• Difficulty in cleaning

From my point of view, just wanting to buy this potato peeler on steroids, the light Core version is better ...
But I live well without it !!!

TLDR: It could have been great...but they chose the WRONG Blade. Sad

I think the Genesis 2 is fantastic! Been using it for a number of years. Always get an easy, no effort BBS. We all have different faces, skin types, shaving styles, water quality..etc so YMMV.....

I tried the lighter CORE version and ended up returning it. The shave quality wasn’t in the same league as the Genesis 2...

I have several razors that I really like and tend to use one of them for weeks at a time.  Then, for no apparent reason, I will change to another favorite.  When I pick up the OneBlade after a hiatus, I am always amazed at how comfortable and efficient my shaves are.  I really like this razor.  If I had to, the OneBlade could easily be my one and only.  Luckily, there are three other razors that I also like .  They too could be my one and only razor.  One thing for sure, you will not see my OneBlade Genesis 2 m BST, it will always be part of my shave arsenal.

I wish they would modify the design to accept GEM blades. If memory serves me right the original design could accept GEM blades.

The orignal v1 does accept GEM blades but they do not snap in to any retaining slots. Instead they are held in place by friction. Also the blade has a very slight bend or "smile" which doesn't affect the shave.
