Your most moisturizing alcohol splashes

Do you have a particular reason for that? I always dry my face before applying a moisturizer or aftershave, but I've never really considered why.

I find that they spread easier and absorb better. I rinse and dry my face after shaving, then lightly spash some water on my face and apply aftershave. My face is not dripping wet but it is wet if that makes sense.

I do this also! It works specially well with balms.

Thanks again for the tip Hobbyist! I tried aftershave/moisturizing with a slightly damp face today and it made a HUGE difference. Apparently I've been doing it wrong my whole life lol.

I haven't used any alcohol-based splashes since trying my dad's Aqua Velva Blue when I was 17.
I much prefer my unrefined shea butter.

Two splashes (out of my 60 or so) stand out from the others on this front:

1. Wm Neumann (I've got 1907, Heartwood, 1911 and Absolute Zero, and they all are amazing moisturizers)
2. Barrister's Reserve Classic
