WoW, Will.

Your number one niche fragrance house is a house I have never even heard of.

And they have 3 fragrances in their catalogue TOTAL .......a bold number one pick, their 3 perfumes must all be 10/10's.

Bogue Maai is one of the greatest masterpieces of the last 30 years. Highly recommended.

I've yet to smell a Creed that I would spend money on for a full bottle. Aventus was ok but I wouldn't wear it that much to be honest.

I currently own 13 full bottles of Creed and one large decant (Spice & Woods)

They are quite the popular niche house, and what I like about them is that they have so many easy to like fragrances, that I just can't seem to get tired of.

There is the all time classic Green Irish Tweed, which just smells so green and fresh. Then you have Millesime Imperial, a gentle very well blended summer fragrance, that just smells so regal and clascci to me nose. Virgin island Water is perhaps arguably among the best real summer, beach, trophical fragrances ever made. Aventus is just Aventus - a great fragrance, overhyped yes, but for a good reason. It so well blended, smells like an upperclass designer fragrance.

Creed really just smell like very well blended easy to like designer fragrances, and that's waht I enjoy about them.

The first oud fragrances they make is Royal Oud, which really does not smell oudy at all, more classy fresh, woody - but not oudy. Creed fans would not appreciate real agarwood oud, is my thoughts. The you have Royal mayfair, which is a fresh classy rose type scent.
Silver Mountain Water is again an easy to appreciate fresh yet metallic and clean smelling fragrance. I love it. Always enjot, when ever I get to wear it.
Spice & woods is just a classy upscale fragrance, very expensive, yet so well blended.
Erolfa is perhaps the best made aquatic fragrance I have ever smelled.

I rotate my fragrances in my collection daily, so I never get tired of a fragrance, unless it's really bland or poorly made.
This reminds me, that I have not worn any of my 13 Creeds in 3-4 months time, not since November 2015 Big Grin

But I have a very good scent memory, so all Creed scents are in the back of my mind.

But I can highly recommend, that you sample some of the Creeds again, Brian. They are popular for good reason....

I may try them again at some point Claus. However, they were so bland & short lived for me that my interest just isn't there. Many report nice longevity from Creed but on me they barely lasted 3-4 hours. Perhaps I never got to enjoy the full dry down. I know it's a popular house, but just not my style.

I'd rather invest my money in some more Amouage.

I also only get 4-6 hours on many Creed fragrances, and back when I didn't have 450+ full bottled fragrances in my collection, it was a concern with the short lived overpriced fragrances, like come will call Creed, but I have so many fragrances now, that of and when I need a fragrance, that lasts 10+ hours, I have 50-100 fragrances in my collection that has that kind of longevity - and I will just pick one of these.
My Creeds, I usually only use from April until November, because they are rather short lived, and most of them are freshies, and not suited for the cooler colder winter and fall in my opinion (which is also why I haven't used a Creed since November)

But my longer lasting Creeds are Aventus - 10+ hours solid, GIT - 8+ hours solid, Royal Oud - 8+ hours solid, Bois Du Portugal 8+ hours solid - the rest give me 4-7 hours longevity.

Amouage is my favourite house, and all my 8 Amouage fragrances gives me at least 8-16 hours longevity (Ciel Man is the dark horse, it only gives me 6 hours, but that's because it's a light fresh fragrance)
I plan on adding furhter 3-4 100 ml bottles of Amouage to my collection in 2016...........next up is Fate Man and Opus VI

I just looked that one up Will and after reading the notes and some reviews I am not surprised you like it so much. I am tempted to try it myself even. Some reviews mentioned a strong animalic musk note flooded with beautiful florals. It sounds interesting.

Nice Will. I was going to say, if people have never heard of Bogue before, with all due respect, they don't know fragrances.Big Grin

Big names or houses are not always top shelve, sometimes they are just name. Chanel, to me, doesn't do a thing, but you give me Jo Malone 154 and am a happy guy.
