I believe it’s standard.

On the topic of handles, my Carbon R2 handle fits the Yates as well.

The newer version which has a slight flatness is the new cap and "The" standard going forward from what I understand.

Every CG handle I own, about 12, fits the Yates top cap All his top caps for about 8 months now are standard thread

I ordered the razor and H plate yesterday. Since trying the Merica razor I have been waiting for items to be restocked.

Wonderful news. My brass bishop is possibly my favourite handle and I think a nice contrast to the stonewashed finish. Not to say I won‘t be trying it with the original handle to begin with, just nice to have options.

Ordered the stonewashed razor today and got 20% off the leather travel case. Looking forward to trying this razor after all the great reviews. Was hoping to get a H plate as well, but waited too long and they were sold out. Same for the 3.25” handles. Can’t wait to try it though. Great to see a reasonably priced razor made in PA and getting such overwhelming response from the group. If the H shaves as well as it sounds, it could be time to clear out some of the more expensive items in my den, which would be a good thing!

Looking forward to the release of the Ti version in early 2021.

Marhos24 The WCS collaborated CG handles work (like Hyperion Dave in KY has been using) and all my Charcoal Goods handles (stars and strips, maze, hammered, Bishop, Arrow etc) as the tops where the threads are located has a narrower diameter compared to the actual handle. The Yates head on a 3.5” CG is a pleasure to use. Best of luck
