Eric, those are beauties. I really like that Pelikan M600. I, too, have a Parker Vacumatic and they are great writers.

Freddy Thoughts?  I'm thinking about getting one of these and wondered if you had any insights on this maker.  Thanks.

I don't have an Aurora so cannot shed any light on them.  However, I did find this rather comprehensive and interesting review: http://www.bestfountainpen.com/aurora-ipsilon/.

Should you decide to get it then I hope you'll post your thoughts here. Smile

I found this site when steeleshaves asked me about the Aurora Ipsilon and thought some of you might enjoy it: http://www.bestfountainpen.com.  This lady has some nice pen reviews and a blog that are done in a light breezy manner.  You might find it interesting.  I thought her review for the Nemosine Singularity was spot on, except for her complaint about the name Nemosine on the ring not being clear.  (Perhaps she got a fluke because I have six Nemosine Singularities and they are all stamped perfectly.)  Anyway, perhaps you might find the site helpful. Reading this thread has sold me on a fountain pen. I've narrowed down my choices to a Nemosine Singularity or a Bulow X450.

My penmanship is . . . . not great. Akin to chicken scratch actually. I think a decent pen, some paper, and some time practicing will be a be a huge help.

I've read a lot about the Singularity's, but not too much on the Bulow's. Any thoughts on the Bulow's?

Ethan, I don't know much about the Bulows. I could be wrong but I believe Nemosines are from Taiwan with German Nibs and assembled in the U.S.A. Bulows, I think, come from China. I like the writing experience with the Nemosine but have no experience with the Bulow.

I just got a Nemosine Fission Fountain Pen - with a Fine German Nib.

I have been using it for a little more than a week and really like it. I use the Diamine Ancient Copper ink. Works well and allows me to write in fine detail. You can't go wrong with a Nemosine.
