andrewjs18, this really is a fantastic soap. I had never tried a PannaCrema product before and now I'm wondering why. Lol. The lather and performance is right up there with B&M for me and the scent is very nice. The description you posted earlier in the thread fits it to a tee. I'm not well versed in picking out individual notes yet, but it is a fresh and clean scent with floral components and some woody depth to it. My only very small "knock" would be scent strength. I like strongly scented soaps and this one is about medium. Though it could be my allergies this time of year. Either way it's in no way a deal breaker. The performance alone is enough to make up for it.

I'm a big fan of PannaCrema. I know that people tend to celebrate the American artisans, but only a few (B&M, Mystic Water, PAA, etc) have been successes for me. Everything I've tried from PannaCrema has been exceptional on the first test, and Nuavia is the top of its class.

Well done andrewjs18 for making this arrangement!

the scent strength of the soap is definitely mild, probably a 5/10, I'd say. I mentioned this to PannaCrema and left it up to him as to whether or not he bumps it up a little bit. I think his concern was with skin allergies if the scent is too strong.

no problem. we're excited as well and hope everyone likes it when it's ready for purchase.

If I'm not mistaken, @"TheHandleBar" will be carrying this soap when it's released.

Have you tried CRSW Puro Fresco? It's been several months since I had it but this new Nuavia Pure20 reminds me of it very much. I don't know how else to describe it, but I think anyone who likes Puro Fresco would like this scent.

That's a bummer about the scent. I can't smell mild scents during shave so what's the point if they all preform similarly.

PannaCrema may bump up the scent strength before the soap is released. I'll speak with him more about it soon.

No, I have not. CRSW is another soap I have not got around to yet.

It's not that the scent isn't there. It's just not one of the stronger scented soaps I've used. I'm like you in that I want to experience the scent while I'm shaving. I'll usually take a little dollop of lather and put it right under my nose so I can smell it. I have a moustache so the lather doesn't get up there often. But my allergies could be effecting my sense of smell right now too, so take that for what it's worth.

I used the DFS Pure2O last night, and it really is a fantastic soap. Very easy to lather, and slucker than snot on a sheet of ice. Outstanding performance.

For the scent...it smells great in the container and blossoms very nicely in the scuttle, but I cant smell it during the shave. With that said...Im shaving my head, so I cant smell most soaps very strongly during the shave. A little boost to the scent would be nice, I think, but this is not a "deal breaker" for me.

Im going to do an SOTD video shave with this soap this weekend...
