UPDATE:

I thought I'd post this in the guidelines section so when I refer to this in the actual Shave Offs in the World Shave Off Showdown 2 edition thread everyone would know what I'm talking about without having to post up a face photo like below.  So for those that haven't followed my Shave Offs in the past and wouldn't know what I'm talking about when I mention where and what I used as far as razors goes this is how it works. So to make things fair on my face I section my face into 4 sections. Reason is the right side of my face and neck is much more difficult to shave than the whole left side. I guess the old saying God made us in halfs really does apply to me. On my more difficult to shave right side I have a nasty cowlick on my neck on the right side of the old Adams apple that has proven a challenge to a bunch of razors and blades. Still on my neck just about right under my right ear there is a patch of weird growing hair that isn't a cowlick but grows in different directions. On my face right above this area it continues alongside my ear all the way up to my sideburn so in short pretty much my whole right side is more difficult to shave than my left where my beard growth is much more in line with straight down is going WTG and that continues all the way down my neck and straight up is ATG. Only on my chin area is my growth kind of strange on both sides as some of it on my right side is ATG when I go XTG and on the other is the same but in the opposite direction. I'm sure many of you have mapped your beard growth and know what I'm talking about although I'm sure yours is probably different than mine.

So in an effort to keep things fair for both razors I'm using in a Shave Off I assign each razor to 2 sections. One on the more difficult right side of my face and neck and one on the left side of my face and neck. This way each razor gets an easy section and a difficult section to make things fair for each razor.

Below is an example of what I mean and in the first Shave Off I did this is how and were I used each razor. The Charcoal Goods Level 2 OC is on my right side face and the Mergress is on my right side neck and just the opposite on the left side. I've found this system works best in keeping things as fair as possible to both razors being used when doing a Shave Off.  If you have any questions please ask in this section.

Thank you!
