I must be either living under a rock or to busy because this is the first I’ve heard about this razor. So what’s the scoop on it?

Haha no worries. I only know about it because Ruds did a review of it a few weeks ago.

Like the “Lithe” head, it was designed by Brian at Charcoal Goods for WCS. It’s a zamak head that I believe is made in China.

The Brawny will be the most aggressive in this line of heads and is supposed to be released soon.

i don’t have a problem with most razors being in the Shave Off but is it available for sale and if so what category would it go into. I like the idea of having a lot of the new razors that have been released since we ended that last “ Most Efficient Razor Shave Off and there’s been a lot of them  I did bring in a few vintage razors that most of the shaving community is familiar with like the Fatboy and Aristocrat but I’d rather not flood the Shave Off with vintage razors and some modern razors that we already did Shave Offs with and especially ones that got eliminated in the very early rounds.

I’m open to any suggestions on razors to add to the category lists I just don’t want to see a lot of redundancy in this Shave Off. I have another reason for this position but I’m not able to share that info right now but I certainly plan on it as soon as I can.

I thank you my friend and all the members who have reached out to me on this topic so keep the suggestions coming. I just want to establish some guidelines to make this journey we are all about to go on a fun one with a lot of useful information in it about everything to do with the whole shaving experience we all seen to enjoy. Else we’d all be back home with our plastic carts! Lol

Frank - any interest in Above The Tie's most aggressive H plated razors (some models now discontinued) with gaps of 0.91 mm for an efficient contender ?

UPDATE:

Ive gotten a bunch of razors sent to me by generous members for the Shave Off.

I will add any that are on the lists and on Sunday I”ll be starting the “ Efficient Category “  I’ll be updating this guidelines section as well throughout the weekend.

I’m asking andrewjs18 if he can edit the title of this thread to

World Shave Off Showdown 2 Guidelines

I’ll start a new thread beginning with the first Shave Off and will begin the index so people will not have a problem in the future finding a particular Shave Off.

Also I will be putting the names of all the razors in the “ Efficient “ category in a box with a hand opening and shaking the box and picking two slips of paper out of the box and going with whatever match up comes up.

Any last thoughts or suggestions by members please post them up as soon as possible so they can be taken into consideration before we begin.

Thank you!

Yahoo ! Can’t wait to startup again so get Emma to pull those razors from the hat and set up them brackets. Time for Mr Enabler (AKA Dragonsbeard) to give us an excuse to empty our wallets and score new toys
