This is an update on the new Haircut and Shave N075 all Stainless Steel razor. As I Previously stated the original N075 Which was all stainless steel except for the aluminum anodized base plate was one of the best razors on the market today smooth and efficient. Well now the new all stainless steel razor has even been improved and the shave is even smoother and more efficient. The only thing I could say I didn't like about the razor and this is personal Preference is that the handle is 3.25 inches and I prefer a longer handle which now I understand in the future The Choice of longer handles will be available. This is probably one of the best shaving razors on the market today It is just is so smooth and glides on the face and is very efficient. It can be used as an everyday shaver as well as taken down a number of days growth.. I own or have tried every high end razor and this definitely goes as one of my favorites!!![Image: bb71493791118b60d4ef88237b018e2d.jpg]

The razor to compare that to is the Karve Razor with baseplate B.  The Karve Razor with baseplate B has a 0.73 mm gap with neutral blade exposure.

That's almost the same (0.75) gap and neutral blade exposure as the H&S-075 offers, and the Karve (Christopher Bradley) Razor sells for $100 less.

I own a Karve Razor with C and D plates.  I've never tried either the Karve B plate or The H&S-075.  The numbers, however, are a very close match.

So if you have the opportunity to try the B plate Karve Razor, I'd be curious to hear how similar they shave.  Thank you for your review.

I only have Karve D and F plates. I've never been wowed by the shave from the Karve. Carbon arrives today.

Karve SS is around $155. $65 less. Also, it has matte finish. H&S-075 is polished.
But I really wonder shave comparison, too.

You really can't compare razors by blade gaps Because the design Of each razor is different and blade gaps don't equal each other. I have the Karve DEF and they all shave very nice but the haircut and shave feels smoother and is just as efficient. The B plate would not be nearly as efficient as the Haircut and Shave

I agree with Rawfox1 on this. I have shaved with the Karve B thru F Plates and both H&S models (Aluminum and SS baseplate) and the Karve B plate surely does not come close to the efficiency of either H&S. Just off the top of my head, if I had to make a comparison to the Karve, the H&S is closer (but not exact) to a D plate.

I too like longer handles; however, my only complaint with the current H&S handle was it needs some knurling/grip in the middle. I do like the taper though.

Just ordered mine in all stainless and I agree about not trying to compare razors via gap. I have the Karve in brass and stainless and use the E plate OC and G plate SB and I find both extremely smooth and efficient. I also have the new Paradigm DE stainless razor on preorder from WCS. I will also order the Carbon Shaving razor before the end of the month if they come back in stock soon. Should be some interesting comparisons this month and in October. For me, it sounds like this one shaves similar to the Raw Shaving RS-10. Yes or no rawfox1 ?
