The problem is the blades. I don't care if you're using Gem manufactured blades, or what were the best when I fooled with them, the Ted Pella blades.

Pella's are plenty sharp, but give me a DE with a Feather, Wizmet, or Gillette Blue. If I'm going to shave with an SE it'll be one that takes Feather Artist Clubs.

YMMV  Smile

?? Ted Pella doesn't make blades.

Yeah, think the Ted Pellas are the PTFE coated ones that Bullgoose sells which are the best ones in my opinion. Those are the only ones I use in my Blackland Sabre L2 and Rocnel SE-G.

The Paradigm SE head was really big but at least it took AC blades. The WR3 looks massive and clunky. Plus there is a very limited selection of GEM razor blades.

The razor is ugly. I like to have an assortment of different blades to choose from. My 2¢.

Anyone else thinking of getting the WR3? Sounds like it will be a few more weeks - end of the month at the earliest before full pricing and ready to order in other materials. Currently available in SS basic polish and basic matte only.

Here are the production gaps
0.25
0.30
0.35
0.40
0.45
0.50
0.55
0.60

Head is 36g (WR1 28g, WR2 33g)

Big pass for me. I've tried the GEM style razors and although it gives for a comfortable and rather close shave, it's more of a novelty than a necessity. I prefer to grab my straight razor or DE to get a shave as efficient as they come. I barely even grab a SE anymore. SR an DE work for me. I find them more consistent and efficient.

What's the point of you shitting your pants because others are expressing an opinion at variance with your own? C'mon, Jeff from Detroit.
