I have also used a WR1 .80 and .61. The .61 is really mild, but maybe not as efficient as I'd like. The .80 is great, but maybe a tad more blade-feel. I was debating a H&S N075, a Blackland, or a Carbon razor, but wanted to seek the wisdom of the crowd.

I have the same WR2 1.15. The H&S N075 is a great razor, but I don't think you'll find it nearly as efficient as the 1.15. I tried the Carbon in the pass-around (both SS and Ti), and found all the gaps that I tried to be much less smooth than the 1.15 (this was my experience, others really like the Carbon; I felt like I got blade chatter). You may like the Blackland Dart (if you can find one second hand), although it was a tad too blade forward for my taste. I have not tried the Blackland Blackbird.

Agreed. That is the best handle he makes. I should have my final one en route as we speak.

Does anyone have the diameter dimensions of the whr7 xl ? I think I get the wrong version ??. My hybrid have a 13,6mm thick knurling part and 15,24mm at the bottom . Length 96,25mm . How thick is the whr7 xl

Living on the edge
Diameter at base is 15mm...at waist abut 10mm.....at the knurling around 12mm
Length is 98mm

Ahh okay I thought the 98mm xl version have a thicker knurling part then my 96.24mm version with 13,6mm .I found the 14mm from my whr1 is the limit for my preference

My order in the first half of the year took exactly 16 weeks until proceed with order. If James can knock down 3 weeks bi-annually or 6 weeks annually I'd say he's got another 2 years before he's at the shorter end of his order list.
