Different blade gaps have always been allowed but custom handles, engravings etc are mentioned as a no-go in the email. Would be cool to see that change.

Ohh man I’m so happy to announce that a dream come true ?. I ordered yesterday a hybrid handle from James . The 3/7 Xl hollow in Satin finish ??. Can‘t wait for a first try ??

Just had an email back from Tara. I asked about 3/7 and 1/2 hybrids and this is what she wrote:

"Yes, James can make either hybrid."

So it appears custom handles are okay!

Nice Sounds very good ?? Yeah I think James knows that his fans are more interested too get specials versions now.

JimmyH My personal favorite Hybrid Handle is the 3/7, I think they look great and it feels good in hand. I’ve never owned a 1/2, but the pics I’ve seen of them look great, I’d love to add one to the Den.

I prefer a larger diameter and more length, so I always order 3/7s based on the 98mm XL7. From my understanding, there is also an option to have a smaller diameter 3/7 hybrid by starting with a 96mm standard WRH3. That is the major distinction.

What does the 1/2 look like?
