JimmyH I can vouch for the 1.35 in any finish.
It's a hell of a useful gap...I reach for it more often than the 1.55 thats for sure.

The thing is: Ive tried the .86 WR1 SB.....while it was certainly smooth, the WR2 family of higher gaps
is far smoother to me. I can't go back to anything less smooth, hence my fence sitting on the .94

I have a .74 WR1 and it is smooth as silk and very efficient. My .86 OC is good but I think the .80 might be the sweet spot. I haven't had the opportunity to try one and be sure.

I don't know that I'd recommend the .94 if you weren't in love with the .86.

Ive got a polished Ti94SB on an 80mm handle. That one will be my old man razor when I can't lift a Sailor. Smile

My latest razor from Wolfman is a .94DC on a WRH7 XL Hollow. Love that one and the .86DC. Those are the 2 WR1’s that I kept. Sold my .74DC. I have no need for anymore SS Wolfman razors. I’m good with my collection of WR2’s and WR1’s.

I have a WR2 1.35 with Darwin handle all in the satin finish waiting on me for when I return from vacation. My first Wolfman! I postponed my order for a while thinking all I needed was my SE’s and Blackbird...but the Darwin handle has intrigued me. And here’s to hoping the satin finish is to my liking. I’m not the biggest fan of mirror polish so hopefully the satin keeps the allure of Jame’s polish while adding a degree of industrial look to the razor.

I don't think you'l be disappointed with brushed satin....I think its his best finish of the lot!

The hollow XL7 makes all of them better.

Does JD allow an extra handle order with a complete razor?
