Wolfman WR2 Head Discussion

WR2 1.55 SB

- WR1 or WR2?  (WR2 seems to be the go to choice of most, WR1 seems to have more blade feel and a thinner head)
- which gap would bring me near the Z0/R41 ?
- Open comb or Solid Bar?

If a R-41 type is comfortable for you I think you'd love the WR2 1.55 in SB. Great razor for those who prefer blade feel, efficiency ... but exceedingly smooth.

I agree except I have to throw my 1.65 in there as well. The titanium Sailor S is pushed back to 2022 but Murat still has it on the books.

Is it worth going for an OC version ?

Does anyone have an idea where James is on the order list these days? I placed my order on 5/19/20 but have been off the board for a while... I’m thinking of a 1.35SB this time as I’ve been using the 1.25 almost exclusively these days with comfortable results and my 1.45SB gets me as close as I’d ever want and I can only use that consecutively a few days before i need to back off... hopefully the 1.35 is the ticket. (Also considering a .80 WR1 SB to round out the WR1 side of the collection) Thanks everyone

1.35 is indeed the ticket!

I used to have three consecutive gaps...1.35/45/55 and realised I just don't need all three.

So I got rid of the 1.45....1.35 gives me the daily shave and 1.55 steps in if I really need some extra smooth
firepower after days of beard neglect.

I was on the waitlist 5/23/20 and got notification to proceed with order on 12/17/20.  The 1.35 WR2 is the ticket.
