LOOT about the handle are you comparing WRH7 standard vs WRH7 XL hollow? The standard solid is 90gr while the XL hollow 56 gr... So again it would be head heavy. Unless you mean WRH7 standard hollow vs WRH7 XL hollow.

The dollars on the site are CAD.

I probably like the WRH1 best ergonomically, the WRH7 is the most attractive. I have the 90mm solid and it took me some time to grow accustomed to it, but once I did I've come to like it.

I have the WRH7 long hollow, and it is awesome. I've only used it on the WR2 DC 1.15/1.25 OC/SB that it came with, but it is great.

I also have WRH2 in 80 & 90mm solid. A very efficient handle because of the knurling, but heavy, even in the shorter version, and I don't find them attractive looking ... YMMV

The WRH3 is quite attractive, but the smooth section gives me trouble, so I knurled it myself. I have the 90 & 100 ... I'd opt for 90 if I had it to do over. Mine are solid.

The Darwin is a beautiful handle, and quite ergonomic, and the facets counter the smoothness so that it is not slippery. Very light though.

Correct. Solid 7 vs hollow 7xl.

But since the solid WRH7 is heavier than the hollow 7xl how can the former be head heavy and the latter not?

I don't think the standard 7 is heavier than the 7XL hollow. I could be wrong, I no longer have them in similar materials. Maybe someone else can confirm. Also, the 7XL is longer and larger in diameter. Longer moves the balance point away from the head all things being equal....making it less head heavy. The absolute best handle, in my hand, is a hollow 7XL Hybrid with the WRH3 bells at the base of the handle. This adds a little more weight to the handle end, getting balance closer to the butt of the handle. They are hard to come by though. Definitely off menu. The WR1 head is lighter than the WR2 head, that's why I say the standard 7 works better on a lighter WR1 head. Just think of your razor as a see-saw....your fingers the fulcrum. Balance point moves to the larger mass. I hope I explained that correctly....lest the flames consume.

Ha. Ok. These are the ones I kept over the years. My Blackbird Jet is in a travel case for when I'm slumming it.[Image: 688cff0261ce9f01edf94212b787b303.jpg]
