If the pen test is legit... My 0.95 catches on a pen indicating positive blade exposure. Not sure how the 1.15 is neutral if my 0.95 is not.

1.15 is confirmed as neutral

The  1.15  having neutral exposure in my experience
Is complete nonsense. However slight it may be the
Blade Exposure on the 1.15 is most definitely Positive.

Blade exposure.........
So here is a quick measurement for everyone,
Not 100% accurate but very close indeedy. (Within 0.01mm)

Wolfman Wr2 1.15/1.55 SB Satin Matte finish Wrh1 XL Hollow
[Image: A8egYvf.jpg]
The 1.15 side is ballpark 0.09mm positive blade exposure
The 1.55 side is ballpark 0.40mm positive blade exposure

Based on these measurements a rough positive blade exposure calculation could look like this:

0.95 Negative.   -0.076mm   Calculated
1.05 P 0.01mm.  (Measured)
1.15 P 0.09mm.  (Measured)
1.25 P 0.167mm.  Calculated.  ————————-Blackbird P 0.14mm (measured)
1.35 P 0.244mm.  Calculated
1.45 P 0.321mm.  Calculated.  (Measured 0.33mm)
1.55 P 0.40mm.    (Measured)

The 1.05 Is very close to Neutral exposure......I have more blade gaps & could explore further if there is demand for greater accuracy's.

Food for thought gents  Cool

Can you do calculations for .95 and 1.05?

Thanks for doing this Starman

.95 works out less than I imagined but I’ve never tried one.

Curious how you are figuring out the calculations opposed to measurements?

I’m sure simon_zzz would be interested in theoretical .75 and .85 data points.

No Probs,

As stated a ‘rough ballpark calculation’
(I am no mathematician!)

1.55 gap measured P 0.40 minus 1.15 gap P 0.09 = 0.31mm / 4 for the other gaps = 0.0775mm per gap difference.

Interestingly, as my post shows the Wr2 1.45 calculated at 0.32mm and actually measured at 0.33mm which is within my tolerance guess of 0.01mm accuracy, this is the best I can do with this rudimentary method.
NOT set in stone but a fair reference point I think, hopefully helpful  Cool

Starman this is excellent - thank you

It would be interesting to see this for wr1’s if you have any

My 0.95 has positive blade exposure. It's not a calculation. It's an actual.

All Cnc razors will certainly have tolerance differences.
As to what these machining tolerances are I have no idea,
My 0.95 has Negative blade exposure-actual.

For example:
A basic machine finish will have different tolerance to a razor which has been sanded and polished.

Also blades have different tolerances, a Kai bade will give more blade exposure than a GSB.
My measurements were taken with the same GSB
 Cool
