Any news today Ventastic?
Unfortunately no. But in Canada, the day isn‘t over yet.

Oh good deal. I'm in Missouri and I think it took maybe a couple of weeks give or take after the invoice, not too long considering he made it and shipped it.
I think Jimmys got to him a little bit quicker and it was a litter mate, of sorts, to mine. Edit: JimmyH  that is.
Forgive me if you put this above what was your order date originally?

Thanks that's great to know! 2 weeks or so isn't bad at all. I'm wondering if he has some of the parts made already like some of the handles, that makes it go by quicker. I imagine it's time consuming to get that incredible polish too. My order date was March 2nd or 3rd I think so only took about 8 months. Not bad!

I'm not sure exactly what type of machining schedule he has.
I'd say you're right on the polishing for sure.

I think mine took about a week ... IIRC ... to Florida, but I specifically asked for expedited shipping and paid extra for UPS rather than Canada Post. My Google Form confirmation of order came in on March 2nd, so I'm anticipating a go forward with order notification any time now.  Confused

Nice a week is really fast. Decided not to go for UPS because of the extra cost, I'm cheap lol. Which one did you go for?

I’ve read on another forum that they don’t charge extra to ship UPS

Well that was in July of last year when I sent in the google form IIRC,  February when I got the go ahead confirmation, received the razor in March. It is a WR2 SB 1.55 in basic polish. I waited until I actually received it to place this upcoming order, as James requested we do. Not sure what I'll go for next. Wheels are turning.

The wolfman website describes the WR2 SB 0.95 as mild/medium.

What would the 0.95 gap be comparable to in a Karve SB plate or a Rockwell 6s?

I'm guessing a Karve B and Rockwell 3 or is it more like a C and 4?

Oh sweet! Went for the most aggressive one. I've heard from shaveSymptomatic before that despite the 1.55 being a high gap is incredibly smooth and the higher gap WR2's gain efficiency while retaining smoothness which is pretty awesome. What's been your experience with it? And nice on scoring another one! Which one are you going for this time?

I agree with shaveSymptomatic on the incredible smoothness of the 1.55. I haven't decided on which gap I'm going for. Thinking 1.35 SB, as I have a 1.25 OC, and a 1.15OC/1.25SB DC. I know that I'm not going for a 1.65. Might be as good or better than the 1.55 but the latter is good enough for me.
