Wolfman WR2 Head Discussion

I really like the .54 OC, real smooth and comfy for daily shaves but I'm thinking about getting the .48 for extra smoothness. I gather some of the mid gaps can be a little rough. .80 OC is really smooth but more aggressive/efficient as you'd expect. Not a daily shaver for me personally, at least not all week. More efficiency than I need really. Was only considering .95 in the WR2 or even lower gap if possible.

I have on hand a Tatara Nodachi and Masamune in SB.  Also, a Wolfman WR2 SB 1.05 and a WR1 SB .67

The combo of Nodachi plate with Masamune top is extremely close of the WR2 for smooth shave and blade feel.  The Wolfman is a closer shaver.  I will rate the Tatara combo at 90% of a Wolfman.  I have found the WR1 a bit more close shaving than the WR2 but with more blade feel.  I have sensitive skin and no one of theses give me redness.  The all can be daily shavers.

If I have to choose just one, the WR2 will be my bet.

Thanks for the comparison! Would you say the WR2 1.05 is smoother and has less blade feel then the Full Masamune?

Almost the same feel on face, but Wolfman cut a bit closer.

What WR2 head is the full Nodachi most like?

Got my WR2 DC1.65 on the 19th of this month (ordered Jan 30th). OC has some blade feel, smooth but definitely can be felt. I had to be careful not to cut myself WTG. Then used SB for ATG and XTG and it was sooo smooth and I just used the razor as I use just about any other razor with no care in the world or any danger of cutting myself (CG L2/L3, Nodachi SB/OC, Blackbird SB/OC, Sailor 19/20 on low levels, GC 0.84 OC etc.). Got best of both worlds really with DC

To put a rough date on it based on the last account of a „proceed with order“ on this thread. I calculated (higher mathematics ) that my order from the 7th of March should receive it‘s follow up email around the 23rd of October.

Oh good deal. I'm in Missouri and I think it took maybe a couple of weeks give or take after the invoice, not too long considering he made it and shipped it. 
  I think Jimmys got to him a little bit quicker and it was a litter mate, of sorts, to mine. Edit: JimmyH that is.
