agreed. the .61 is comparable to a R89.

My .54 DC should arrive next week. Ask me later in the week.

This was a trade but will help me decide on the gap when my name comes up. I shave daily and now only use mild razors. My most efficient-aggressive razor is the Masamune OC.

I’ve had about 4 shaves now with the WR2 1.25 and think I will hold onto the razor for now.

My first shave with it was actually disappointing. I could not intuitively find the angle, and felt some discomfort while shaving. I attribute part of this to using an aluminum razor for a few shaves prior and also using razors with minuscule to no blade exposure over the past few months.

Nonetheless I preserved; numerous accounts on forums everywhere could not possibly be wrong. I tried different blades for shaves 2 and 3. I tried different angles, but similar discomfort (blade feel?).

Now, for these first 3 shaves I did have great end results. The efficiency was where I like it, but some spots were missed, likely due to user error from maintaining an angle. There was no irritation on my neck, which is the bar all razors must pass. And shaving my neck against the grain to bbs was probably the smoothest I’ve had out of a razor.

Each shave did get better.

Shave 4: “ok, time to wow me or to the BST you go!”

I pulled out a feather as I’d heard wolves were made to be paired with these. I did the goofy hand strop thing, and pulled out some slick SV70.

The first few strokes were rough, but I continued to experiment with angles, including lifting the handle almost perpendicular to my face.

And something finally clicked. There was hardly any blade feel, and the razor was mowing down stubble like no ones business. Was this angle easy to maintain? Not as easily as other razors I own. But were the end results better? Most certainly.

I’ll keep at it, and possibly post a comparison between it and my Diamondback later this week. I had intended to send one of these to the BST As part of satisfying my curiosity about the Wolfman. We shall see.

Tony - Keep both. I have. Both are great performers and the 1.25 rules over the others in my rotation of 4 razors. I find the DB is well suited when my face may need a WM break or when I am just in the mood. Besides it's a forum rule of gentlemanly acquisition. I do prefer the feather in both btw.

I was also thinking he should keep both, at least for a good period of time.

I’m on the list for a WR1. Looking for OC between my CG lvl2 OC and Timeless .95 SS OC. Was thinking .67. Suggestions?

Not personal, just trying to be excited for you is all. I really don't care whether you post a pic or not. Good day.
