Congrats. What configuration did you go with?

WR2 1.25mm with hollow WRH1 90mm in brushed. I’ve owned a lot of shiny toys, and just haven’t enjoyed the constant upkeep of late.

Can you post a close up pic to see what we're talking about.

Ideally one would sand it down to level it flat again until the damage is gone and then take it to the highest sanding grit followed by a polishing. By just targeting the damaged part with sandpaper you'll end up with a slight dimple, wavy or unevenness of the surface which is even more accentuated when polished. Anybody with OCD will cringe. For now just try the simpler option of using some metal polish. Use a micro cloth. Simichrome, Flitz, Maas, Blue Magic come to mind.

I would email Tara, show her the picture and ask her if you can buy just a top cap.

Yeah, sorry to hear that. Let us know  if you get a solution. I've hand sanded and that's a pain to do with working up to finer and finer grit sand paper as already said.
I'm wondering what kind of power tools would work, as I've used a Dremel a bit. I  made circle sand paper rings for the Dremel.

I am using 0.5 Micron to remove fine scratches. Works well and easy.
