Yes, this is what I am trying to discover. Does the exposure change with the gap. For instance the .48 and .54 - do they have negative or neutral exposure? I'm imagining the standard gap is around neutral? I did write to the Wolfman himself and Tara said that James doesn't share that information and to check in with DFS for advice.

Load a blade in the razor. Lay the safety bar on a mirror. Roll the head and see if the blade hits before the top cap. You should also be able to hear the blade click, if there is positive exposure.
I did find this online, however it is old information and James may have changed the specs now:
"So the standard design in inches is a .024" blade gap (.61mm) and a few customers have gotten a .005" increase to .029" (.74mm) and on this razor according to my personal blueprints for each .005" change in blade gap it will add or subtract .003" in blade exposure (that imaginary line tangent to the cap and guard). So you're getting .003 more blade exposure if you go with the same increase others have gotten."
Just need to figure out the exposure of the standard gap.
