Rob, I just emailed him. Looking forward to his reply.
Just saw your Reddit post. Quoted your question.

Tara just emailed me:
"yes they are exchangeable, the gap does not affect the fit of the cap."

I emailed again to make sure all the top caps are same for different gaps.
She said "Yes"

I didn't get 'it' from the horse's mouth, I read it on a forum, but James stopped allowing more than one head because he was annoyed that guys were buying multiple razors, and/or heads, and flipping them on ebay at inflated prices. Not sure if that is carved in stone, but at one time he changed up and started the one to a customer thing, though he might be more willing to allow two handles.

Thanks Cem! This is why it's very important to go directly to the source.

I agreed he might be willing to sell two handles, since some got only heads, he might have extra handles available.
I don't think he will sell two heads at the same time.
I will ask him two baseplates and a handle without top caps, but I don't think he will accept.

Hopeful for a delivery tomorrow after initially slated for this Monday just passed. I’d love to have the new razor ready to go for Thursday’s shave. Fingers crossed!

got the 1.05 & 1.15. Both are great. When my number comes up which should I pick - 1.25, 1.35, or 1.45? I don't have a heavy beard nor. 24 hours after a shave I usually have some stubble but nothing major. I also shave my head - but that doesn't grow too fast nor is it too thick. thoughts???

Does anyone know the blade exposure of the WR1 for the mild to standard gaps?
#3,939
IIRC .54 is mild, .61 is standard.

If you don't have a coarse beard that grows out fast, I'd stop right where you are and enjoy other stuff.
If you absolutely must, I suppose a 1.25 would do....1.35-1.55 seem pointless.
