Ya not sure about 2 baseplates. I thought I saw on here that each top cap is kind of a “custom” match for the baseplate in a sense. I just paid my invoice today and asked if I could get 2 handles/stands with my WR2. Not sure if it’s because I am a first time customer or if there’s enough pre-made handles in stock but they allowed me to. Didn’t want to push my luck in asking for a second head lol. Never hurts to ask I suppose tho.

He might accept two handles, since some purchased only the heads, and he might have extra pre-made handles.

Does each gap have different top cap? I think the difference between the gaps is only bars. Since he sells both sides different gaps, too.

Does each gap have different top cap?

I just remember seeing a post where someone tried selling a base plate only and another person commented that it’s typically a bad idea to sell without the top cap. No idea how much validity there was to his comment tho.

I saw one member had 1.05/1.55 SB. This time top cap direction should be important, and they never talked about it.

Cem, I remember reading somewhere that top caps shouldn't be mixed. If you email and ask him please let us know in order to clear that up.

My 1.35 baseplate will NOT slot on to a 1.45 top cap.

However the 1.35 top cap fits on the 1.45 baseplate.

The top cap and plates for the 1.45 and 1.55 seem interchangeable.

Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend taking the risk...keep them exclusive.

Remember him writing that top caps could change with gaps on WR1s. As haven’t liked the WR2s tried to date sufficiently to purchase, have not followed thru on potential mix and match issues amongst the gaps nor other contingencies.

Tara just emailed me:
"yes they are exchangeable, the gap does not affect the fit of the cap."
