I love both WR1 and WR2. I'd give the edge (no pun) to the WR2.

My first Wolfman razors were an OC and an SB 0.61. They were quite good, but when I got a 0.74 DC, and then a 0.86 OC they became superfluous and I sold them. All of the above came from ebay at inflated prices, but it was years ago and very difficult to buy from James directly. I've since picked up a 0.94 in WR1 directly from James, and it is quite good but I like the 0.86 a bit more for daily shaving, and the 0.74.

I have a WR2 DC 1.15 OC/1.25 SB from James, and a WR2 1.25 OC from a forum member. Both are great shavers, but the king of the hill is my latest from James (google form) a 1.55 SB in basic polish. I have shaved with this daily just to see if I could ... and I can. YMMV  Smile

For someone who prefers a Charcoal Goods Lv2 I'd say go with a WR2 @ 0.95 to 1.05. Since most of us have multiple razors going 1.55 just to try it, and if you don't get along with it trading for a lower gap (on the forum) ought to be easy.

I cant wait for mine to arrive (1.15 as well) but USPS now says status is "arriving late"  Angry  Was supposed to be here today.

Actually, and have a decided bias against government employees, USPS employees have acquitted selves quite well. In fact, will go so far as to state they the sole government entity that has actually bravely fulfilled their duty over the past 50 years.  Kudos on them, unlike all the agencies failing us, they were the only one that never signed up to handle fomites and public through a plague. Have not heard one complain or be anything but pleasant. Earned my respect and appreciation

I don't know whats going on, on this forum.  Every post I make, someone extrapolates my info into something I clearly didn't say (coincidentally, has happened only on this thread, weird).  I actually love USPS and have family members that are USPS carriers.  I respect USPS and I agree, its probably the best-running government related agency.

I was just saying I was "mad" since I wont receive it today.  of course is a "tongue-in-cheek" statement, but i guess is hard to read my intentions through plain text (inherent limitation of written text).   People need to chill down here,  Geez.

For grip I prefer WRH1, WRH2, and Darwin. For looks I prefer the WRH7 and Darwin with a WR1 Head. The 7 is what I think of when I think Wolfman. For looks I also prefer the WRH3 or WRH3/7 Hybrid with a WR2 Head.

All of my WR2s are on 7XLs or 7XL based Hybrids. The 7XL not only looks better on the WR2 head...it fits my hand just about perfect. The standard 7 is too dainty. The 3 and 7 handles are what I associate most with DuFour.

*Edit: Actually one of my WR2 handles is an XL3
