I had originally gone with a wr2 1.25 oc, after advice given here and reading the comments, I decided to change my order to a wr2 1.55 sb.Good deal for your order. It's good to see an October order coming through also.

My order confirmation came yesterday (from Oct.2). I received info directly from James with regard to my inquiry. There is no such option. Either I buy and resale it, which I don't want to, or postpone / cancel.
I hate to cancel my order and I will probably postpone it till end of the year. "Unfortunately", for me, my second spot is coming in a month or so ... unbearable situation

How did you get yourself into this unfortunate situation and end up with two spots?

Like some other members here. Experimenting with the new order process (which started Sept. last year) and filling forms every other week. After years of waiting, nobody knew how this will work (if at all?) and how long it will take. I guess some, me included, didn't take it seriously. Now I know it works. And now I'm loaded up.

In keeping with the sombre mood of the times, I ordered the basic brushed finish.
And a WRH7 XL in basic polish.....I like the contrast but it isn't for all.
Brushed basic is the ultimate no muss no fuss finish....I don't detect any lack
of glide whatsoever....this is just a rock steady workhorse.
It's taken upwards of a year of trial and error to come to the realisation that
1.35 is the lowest acceptable gap for my face...my everyday gap.
While the 1.55 takes over for multiple days' growth.
The 1.35 has just the right amount of blade feel...audio feedback of a Porsche 911
and just smooth as ever.
This makes my 1.45 gap surplus and I will probably look to offload it when some sanity
has returned to our way of life.

I did the basic brushed (upcharge) on a drop last year, and it is gorgeous. My google order for a WR2 1.55 SB with the basic textured is also beautiful and no extra charge. It is so good it is hard to tell it apart from a mirror from a few feet away. Next time I'm going basic matte. I'll never again pay the freight for the upcharge finishes, as lovely as they are.(04-08-2020, 07:56 PM)Tester28 Wrote: Received a spanking new 1.35 WR2 the other day and I am in love with this gap.How does the brushed satin finish (up-charge) compare to the basic brushed finish?
