My razor was shipped Friday and I received delivery of it today, the basic polish is amazing! I had a mirror polished in the WR1 and it’s hard to notice the difference, I really have to look closely to notice it. The WR2 is a beauty.

Had my first shave with the .95 and it’s the best first shave that I’ve had with a new razor. I was a bit concerned after reading this thread about the .95 gap but it’s great!! I’m really surprised how efficient it is and its an incredibly comfortable shave. I’ll have to use it a few more times and see how it does day after day. I definitely see why there’s a lot of hype around the WR2.
Hey WR2 owners. I am waiting for a WR2 head and seeing a few more than average on the bst is making me wonder if my money and expectations are in the right place.
I had a WR1 and loved the craftsmanship but the performance was simply not there for me. I tried to love it for more than a year. Never got a perfect bbs shave with it. Hopefully WR2 is all that!

What are your favorite razors? Answer those 3 and a slew of guys could answer you.

I sold that 125 today only because I have a Ti 125...and I wanted to move those $$$ to another hobby, or two.
My guess is you just had the wrong WR1 gap for your face. Hopefully, you read all of this thread before placing your WR2 order.
The WR2 is a fantastic head. Only a few guys I can think of that didnt really care for it. They are strange birds anyway

Once I did, it's been my very best razor ever since!

Thank you gents. The WR1 I used to have was a standard gap (don’t remember the numbers). The shave was just not smooth enough, ocasional superficial cuts while going ATG.
I got a 1.25 after reading your posts.
My favorite razors are straight razors (yeah, sorry, but that its how it is). Favorite DE are Rockwell @ 3-5, GC.84, Gillette RFB and Hybrid, karve d plate. A few SE, which I guess are not worth mentioning here.
