I shaved half of my face two pass (WTG + ATG) and other half (only ATG just wonder).
It is very smooth to easily get single pass ATG. This razor is definitely keeper.
It is my first brand new Wolfman, happy to he started selling them with google form.
Hopefully others will receive their Wolfman soon.
I am done buying expensive razors until I can get Wolfman Ti from the next drops, only waiting for my Janus, now.

I joined list again to get one more 1.55 for my father. If I can get Ti 1.55, will give mine to him.
It is definitely the best razor I have ever used. Much smoother and more efficient than my Paradigm Ti V1 and WR1 .91.
I was shaving as comfortable as shaving with Raw RS10.
Don't think 1.55 is too high before try, it is super easy to use.

I like that you signed up for another Razor,

Are you thinking of the wrong generation on that wait list?
Perhaps you have a grandchild that will be old enough to shave when your next turn comes around.....Angel

Really? Do you think it is that long? I was thinking in a year, I can get next one.

Who knows?

James states on the website that he aims to fulfil orders within a year,
Currently he is still working through the first day of orders from 9/6.....so if one days orders is taking 3 months?..........

Pour a large glass & relax........ Cool

I submitted my form on 9/6 and I'm still waiting.  I would assume there were probably a lot of orders on 9/6 and 9/7 and not as many orders since then, but I could be wrong.

Yea I agree,
I don't think you're wrong, once word got around many orders will have been submitted around the 9/6-7 & in that week especially.

James emailed me & confirmed he hoped to get through 9/6 orders (Canada time) by end November, so I expect Invoices are not far away, then it's a new day.   Cool

I think 6 & 7 were good days to get on that list....after that it's probably gone haywire.

In addition, I'm sure many people who already received their order have already signed up for another one. I know I have Smile

Not to change the subject ... but ... yesterday, for a change of pace I shaved with a Blackbird, long handle, and a Feather 2nd use. I've commented in past posts on my surprise that the BB is so efficient with a mere .58 blade gap.

In the past I hadn't focused so much on the characteristics of the razor, I just shaved. This thread, and the opportunity of trying out many gaps, has caused me to focus more on the mechanics of the shave.

Yesterday I determined that the reason the BB is so efficient, in spite of the relatively small gap, is because of blade exposure. The gap is minimal relative to the WR1, WR2, Timeless .95, but the blade feel is significant.

Jimmy,

Have you tried the BIrd riding the cap?
Lifting very slightly so the safety bar barely even touches the skin?
This reduces blade feel and the Bird really flies!
After the first release Blackbirds people grumbled at the feel of the sharp edges of the safety bar and blade forward feel, Shane then dulled the edges of later Blackbirds.
lifting slightly changes the geometry very slightly giving a shallower blade angle smoothing everything out. YMMV

I shall try this in time with the Wr2 as I get more shaves in, I would suspect that on the Wr2 it would not be improved over the Neutral position looking at the design due to the Original 0.95 being on the mild side and having an optimum blade angle already.
Blade fwd razors mainly benefit from riding the cap.
Anyone ride the cap of the Wr2?
