Your analogy of a 'Slot machine'....
Do you mean google order form?

Is JD accepting Titanium upgrades pre Invoice?

Stubble is back....but not to a point that would require me
to rush for another shave.

You know a razor feels tight when you don't really feel like
you have to run it 7 days in a row, or compare it to another
gap and then write another review.

It's been a 6-7 month journey to discover that 1.45 and 1.55
are the gaps my beard was made for...and I consider myself super
lucky to be afforded that luxury. Nowadays you just get one crack
at the slot machine so it's a lot more crucial to get it right.
Well, good for you. We are all very happy for you. It's good to see somebody that could not be happier with their shaving gear. I'm thinking your searching and trying new razors is over. At least you can try various blades in it now. Thanks for the feedback and enjoy.

I know this isn't helpful, and I apologise, but it's near impossible to predict what he is doing or
planning to do. Past transactions do not indicate future actions on his part. It's a
very YMMV thing when chasing his gear. Just because A was successful.....doesn't mean
B, C, D will be. But M might get a positive outcome. That is why I don't see any need
to fuel any more speculation.

In the days when the drop system was in place, I had 3 people reach out to me
asking for advice on how to acquire one. Not random people but nice people who
I had done business with, so I was happy to help behind the scenes. 2 of those people
were successful.

When I first came to this thread, it was on Page 90 or so. Six months later it's on Page 220.
I reckon there's tens of thousands looking in. Probably more. The gentleman who publicly blasted
out the news of the Order Form probably had good intentions, along with, possibly, the desire to be seen as
someone who cracked the code. (Look, it's so easy) But IMO it has led to an absolute deluge over at the other end.
I can say with a reasonable amount of certainty that his annual output will be somewhere between 400-500 razors.
Yet the list could easily mean a 4-5 year wait for anyone filling that form now. It's anyone's guess.

I only have access to the exact same information as everyone else. There are questions only he can answer,
I would shoot him an email.

If you are saying you were succesfull in requesting a Ti before youre google Invoice, then great, no problem there, well done.
Not giving a straight answer to several members certainly could fuel speculation,

It is within JD's gift to accept or decline any requests from other customers orders,
No need for secrecy, is there?........

I can't even imagine how many email orders James has received given that the form is still up. I thought it was going to close after a few days and will be reopened once he has fulfilled all of those orders.

The mind truly boggles....there are threads like this one open on shave forums in Oz, UK, most likely France, Germany, Sweden, Reddit....

I think 6-7Sept might have been less crowded...but from then on it's probably exponentially doubled or tripled with every passing day.

He must be relieved that the load on his site from being pounded by a million trackers every second must have dropped off quite a bit.

If my confirmation comes in I'll bite the bullet and order, but unlike some here, I'd rather it be next month than sooner.

I think I did 10th too...so probably way down on the list....

So to Clarify did your lovely new Ti come from the google form from the 9/10?
