...Find a 3-5mm thick piece of plastic and go for it.  If you don't have calipers, just experiment with plastic food packaging.  It's well worth the effort.

I believe you meant 0.3 or 0.5mm correct?

Either way you convinced me again. I will look for some way to make a 0.2mm hard plastic shim (credit card?).
I've been measuring any plastic I can find.I found an old plastic type cell phone screen protector that's roughly .24 and that's with the tear off plastic on both sides. I'm looking around for a thicker pc

I'm on the waiting list with a request for a .95

My razors in rotation includes the Tradere, Karve C plate, and Game Changer .84.

My motto is comfort and smoothness over efficiency. A friend loaned me his WR1 0.61 and this baby goes against my motto.

I love smooth, thus my decision to go with a .95 but can I go higher and maintain a silky feel?

Congrats !

So ... how does a WR2 in SS @ 1.55 feel compared to a Ti 1.35 ?

Is the Ti a softer feel on the skin ?

Ti feels softer because it is lighter. Also Ti metal just feels different because all metals have a different feel. Ti feels more luxurious

All this talk of shimming makes me wonder - how does the shape of the shim affect the blade rigidity and thus the shave characteristics? One of my favorite things about a Wolfman Razor is how smooth it shaves ATG, something one could partially credit to a rigidly held blade, held tightly from top and bottom near the cutting edge of the blade. If the shim is at least as wide as where the blade would normally contact the edge of the baseplate, I wouldn’t think it would negatively effect it, but if the shim is narrower, would blade rigidity be decreased?

Google form on the 6th with immediate email response. Another automated DO NOT REPLY email on the 19th. Another automated reply on the 24th saying PLEASE REPLY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PROCEED WITH THIS ORDER INDICATE ANY CHANGES. Invoice emailed to me on Monday the 31st and paid on the same day. Tracking info emailed to me today. Hope that helps.
