I have been wondering this myself.

I really need to try a Ti Wolfman. I enjoy the heft and feel of stainless and never desired anything lighter when it came to my WR1’s and WR2’s... but with all of the rave reviews about both in Ti I need to see what everyone loves so much about them.

At some point, I have my sights set on a Ti1.25 SB...have not used this gap in SS

Can you narrow down what it is about the Ti that makes it better over SS in the same gap for you?

Is it just the dynamics of a light razor where the user provides the force, or the feel of the Ti on the face?
Or a combination of both. Does your Ti 1.25 feel more.... or less.... efficient than the SS 1.25?

I noted the lines under the top cap of Shave MD's Ti razor...has anyone else got those too?
Wonder if these are finishing marks?

PS. All this 1.45 talk is making me salivate. Hopefully, it will only be a few days now.

I recall reading you once saying that you preferred the WR1 head over WR2 due to the blade feel.
Wonder if this 1.45 will change how you feel over time.

I understand this is all subjective (perhaps except the efficiency) and it may be the allure of a new razor, but the lighter feel of the Ti combined with what feels like a little less drag with the Ti than with the SS makes it feel smoother to me - I doubt there's any significant difference in efficiency. I do like the feel of this Ti; I generally prefer heavier SS razors but this has great balance, to me...

I had, or tried, the WR2 SS .95, 1.15 and Ti 1.25,1.35. All were dual combs and i was not happy with the OC side and was getting a better more satisfying shave from my .94 WR1. A friend let me use his 1.45 in SS and it was the one for me. Smooth yet very efficient, so when I had the opportunity to get one in Titanium I jumped on it, I will use it daily for awhile and get to know it, I'll report back, but initial impression is it is very smooth and efficient.
The bottom of my top cap has a lot of linear scratches, I tried to use Mass but it is not helping a lot, I dont want to do too much and change the shaving dynamics so I am sending Mr. Dufour an email to see if this is normal.

For some reason I can’t put James return response in, but he did offer me a full refund with a return. I like the shave so I am keeping it but just want others to know if you purchase a brushed Ti from Wolfman this is the acceptable finish.

Yep his ti is a basic brushed finish. Not satin.

James Dufour has been very kind in answering my questions and has responded very quickly to my email questions. He has given me options to make my purchase a happy one. I wanted to make it clear, I am in no way attacking him or his work, I just wanted others to know what a brushed finish in Titanium is, as I obviously was confusing brushed Ti with what he used to offer as a brushed SS finish, which I believe is now an added cost.
